After shooting a 67 in the final round to finish on 16 under and tie at the top with Chella Choi, Inbee Park and Hee Kyung Seo, resulting in a four way play off over three holes with Lang coming out on top to become a Rolex first time winner.
"I can't believe it took me seven years to win a tournament out here," Lang said. "I hadn't been that good under pressure and I'm getting better, and I'm so thankful that it happened this week and I'll only get stronger from here."
After shooting birdies on all three of the playoff holes Lang outlasted the other three players to lift the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic, Waterloo, Ontario Canada.
Lang was kept calm by her caddie who also happens to be her brother, He said to me, “just because you're nervous doesn't mean you're going to miss the putt.”
