John Letters Master Model Facts:- John Letters' place in the club makers' Hall of Fame was secured in 1947, with the launch of the now legendary Master Model. In that same year, the great Irish Golfer Fred Daly used the Master Model to win The Open and the British Matchplay Championship, Europe's two premier golfing events at the time. Immediately thereafter the Master Model became the club that everyone wanted to play!
  • The John Letters Master Model Tour Black Fairway Wood has been developed after the huge success of the Master Model Tour Black driver. This fairway has been developed to engineered for a low powerful launch from the club face for achieving more distance and added accuracy.
  • A high performing Maraging steel face insert is harder than traditional stainless steel or titanium face technology. This face insert is also thinner than other faces, making the ball explode off the face.
  • The superior thinner face and perimeter weighting allow you to help increase your accuracy and distance due to the ball being launched off the club face quicker than John Letters have achieved before for the best performance and strength.
  • A fantastic solid feel comes from the rubberised sole band in the club face. This feel allows you to tell how you have hit the golf ball from the feedback you receive.
  • The club face uses full face grooves to give you optimum spin when you strike the golf ball, giving you a more controlled landing making it perfect for approach shots to the green or long par 3's or short par 4's.
  • The club is finished with an immaculate black PVD finish which involves coating the head with a thin film which enhances the durability of the metal with a strong coating along with giving it an attractive black colour.

      What a fantastic club, so good i bought the 3,5, and driver. Actually was a titleist man through and through, not now. The Aldila shaft is amazing. Well done john letters. Take a look at john letters you will be pleasantly amazed. Oh and the quality of the head cover is great too!

          got this club from a pro at Slaley hall with the seniors tour and bamo this club instanly took up another clubs spot in the bag. its long nice to look at and is the best wood iv'e ever hit. its pretty much a driver but from the fairways. distances are close. difficult to hit but when you hit it, it fly's far and straight... awesome.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
