Less than 2 weeks after purchase, the watch is broken: it won't switch on or charge. I used it once, and didn't even get a chance to use it on a golf course. Garmin talk a good talk, but their build quality and reliability leave a lot to be desired. My friends experienced similar issues, but I decided to give it a go - more the fool me. My advice, stick to a Bushnell or Skycaddie.

A really good product [...], however, the screen steams up very easily and this makes it difficult to read.The watch style design makes it really easy to use and on the whole, the product does exactly what it says on the box, however, Garmin need to sort out the recognised issue of the steaming up.

Great size and accuracy, absolutely convenient, especially 150 yard in but battery is really only 18 holes and the charging method is silly.
I had a second hand one but that suffered from condensation (it was just out of guarantee grrrr....) and it became unusable. I liked it though & purchased a brand new one, but on its first outing that did exactly the same - really irritating...so I wouldn't recommend one I'm afraid. Google it, a common fault with these.

Superb product. I've had lessons and forever buying new clubs, but knowing your exact yardages has saved me more shots than anything. Very simple to use. Just turn it on when you get to the course and the Garmin will load the course you are at and is ready to go. Battery life is the only very minor bugbear, (i've had 36 holes out of it so not a problem as long as you remember to charge fully prior to a round.)

Does exactly what you need on the course. Measures individual shots and is accurate. Not bulky on the wrist and is so light you don't know your wearing it. Great product

This is a great product. For the price and ease of use, I cant imagine requiring anything else.Fits very discreetly on the wrist, just like a normal watch.[...] Not sure battery would last 36 holes, though easily does 18

Excellent tool, especially for the 120 yards and in shots to the green. Guess work has now been taken out of the equation ! Battery like good for 18 holes - dogleg holes can be problem, but overall a great piece of kit.

Use for golf course distance information and odometer function.

Great & instant information on a screen which is large enough, there on my wrist. Battery life is good enough for 18 holes with both above functions in use.

Bit bulky on my wrist but that is NOT a con, just a skinny wrist I guess.

Great watch for use on the golf course, distances are accurate and picked up satellites pretty quickly. I've used on several courses all of which were accurate. Ignore earlier reviewer's criticisms of no clock display you just need to press a button! First watch suffered from moisture ingress and condensation on the inside of the watch face but Direct Golf replaced without quibble.
