Absolutely wonderful bit of kit to have with you not playing golf or playing golf to start up the time you need to go outside and wait till the satellite signals to set up the correct time and date so quick charging time and lasts a long time comfortable and reliable on the course I would recommend this to all golfers out there

I recently purchased the S3 after a few years of using a skycaddie. One of the main reasons for the switch was the annual fee from skycaddie. I wasn't sure about wearing a watch to start with as I was concerned I would notice it and affect my swing. There have been no such problems though, you barely notice it after a few holes.
Performance wise it is outstanding, instant reading as soon as you look at it and so much easier to just look at your wrist rather than talking a normal GPS out of your pocket. I checked the accuracy against the skycaddie and it was spot on so there will be no going back for me.

It's quick to see your distances .easy to use,
I just can't fault it,
I still own the s1 model as well that I wear every day as an odometer,
The one thing you have to do is believe the distance it says as I've come up short a few times by not taking enough club,

This garmin approach S3 watch is a great addition to your golf bag. It loads up courses quickly and easily, and really helps to decide what club to hit. The watch looks good and feels great on the wrist, and has no effect on the golf swing.
The measure shot feature is a very good idea, and makes you more aware of the yardages.
On the course is where the watch really comes into its own, at any point you can just glance at your wrist and know exactly where the front middle and back of the green is.
This is a great shot saving device which helps to ensure correct club selection and minimise those frustrating 'just short' or 'through the back of the green' moments.

This garmin approach s3 watch is certainly a great addition to your golf bag. It loads up courses so easily, and really helps to decide what club to hit. I wasnt sure when it was purchased how the touch screen would work, but i was proved wrong. Even with gloves on the sensitivitey was just right and i just love using it. The battery life is very good as well, lasting for ages! The watch looks and feels great on my wrist, and doesnt hinder my swing at all. However, i must ssay that i was expecting more from the scorecard, as i found it a bit fiddly. That was the only downside though, apart from the slightly fiddly unlock. But the measure shot feature is a great idea, and has made me much more aware about my yardages.
Overall a great product!
