Garmin S3 GPS Golf Watch (White)

  • The Garmin Approach S3 GPS Golf Watch is a high-sensitivity GPS receiver packaged in a lightweight, flexible sport watch, to give you distance information to the front, back and middle of the greens, along with so many more benefits.
  • Using the Garmin Approach S3 GPS watch is now even easier thanks to the course detection feature. It will therefore automatically select from one of the 30,000+ pre-loaded golf courses which are being updated and added to all the time.
  • To view a list of all courses currently mapped by Garmin click here. New courses are always being added and you can update the Garmin S3 GPS using the supplied data lead (although you will find most of them already on there).
  • This is Garmin's first GPS Golf watch with a high resolution touch screen capabilities. The glove friendly touch screen allows you to change between measurements and you score quickly and easily using the access buttons.
  • As well as the yardages to the front, middle and back of the green the Approach S3 now lets you see distances to doglegs. S3 also allows players to input and save customizable yardage points - like water hazards or bunkers - from anywhere on the course. The new Green View display shows you the shape of the green which also allows you to move the pin to the position for a more accurate yardage so you can hit a precise yardage to the pin.
  • You can now create and save your own yardage point on the golf course so you can highlight bunkers, water and other hazards.
  • One of the fantastic features found in the S3 watch, which is not found in the previous model, is the round timer. The Garmin S3 also allows you to measure individual shot distances and calculate the total distance walked around the golf course.
  • Monitoring your scores around the course is now easier with the new amazing digital scorecard option which you are able to print out after your round to monitor your progress on the golf course.
  • The high resolution touch screen is now easier to read in all weather conditions thanks to a changeable background display.
  • Fitted with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery which lasts up to 4 weeks in watch mode and 8 hours in GPS mode. Recharging your Garmin Approach S3 GPS is easy, just recharge the S3 via the supplied adaptor or even from your computer using the supplied lead.
  • Included in every box is your Garmin Approach S3 watch, USB/Charging Cable, AC Adapter and instruction manual.
  • The Garmin Approach S3 compliant with R&A rules. Permitted when Local Rule is in effect (see R&A Decision 14-3/0.5).
  • There's no need for subscription fees, downloads or additional set up charges. The S3 comes with FREE lifetime course updates and charges.

        Ever since I got this it has helped me drop about 5-10 shots off of my round. When you know the exact yardage, your wedge play comes on so much that its making up for poor tee shots. Ive also noticed that all the course ive played while wearing it have their yardage posts in the wrong place and this device will help you get past that.

            I returned the first s3 as the slider unlock touchscreen didn't work, tried the exchanged watch and it worked a couple of times, tried again when home, same problem, didn't unlock, loooked on garmin site, it said update can help this issue, it didn't, touch screen on such a small device is pointless. wish I still had my s1. have to get refund and buy s1 again, or Bushnell watch as feel let down by Garmin,

              Never worn anything on my wrist before as i thought it would irritate on my swing, how wrong was I!!!Its light, easy to use, picks up the satellite in around a minute. The only thing i can fault is the price, around the £200 mark would be money worth spent, but hey ho I'm happy and it will take shots off your round, it has mine!!

              Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
