    Comments about Nikon Coolshot Golf Laser Rangefinder:

    I had heard about rangefinders but had made my own mind up about them being a bit of a 'fad' and I'd stick to my GPS app that I had on my phone.

    After trying a friends rangefinder I was stunned, simply stunned! I must of spent 10 minutes pointing it at different objects trying to catch it out, but every single time it came back with the right reading. For example, I pointed it at the flag and then moved it just to the left so it was looking at the trees behind the green, and then back to the flag again. Yet again, the right reading!

    Long story short, I bought one and personally think it beats a GPS device hands down!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
