  • The RAZR X Black driver is used by Jean Baptiste Gonnet on the European Tour. The large 460cc driver gives a larger clubface area and will allow you to hit longer, straighter drives with maximum power and control even on miss hits. The large head still maintains a super sleek black design.
  • The club head features Distance Trajectory Weighting which optimises the clubs centre of gravity to give you the maximum distance with a high launch, low spinning ball flight. The full length hosel still allows the centre of gravity to remain low while the club works perfectly.
  • The crown of the club head is lighter and stronger than titanium because it is made using over 12 million turbostratic carbon fibres that reinforce 27% of the club head. These fibres allow the engineers to precisely control the thickness, which gives the club head the optimum centre of gravity and high MOI.
  • The Black PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) Finish has been developed using a high-tech process that give the driver a distinctive look and an awe-inspiring confidence when you step on the tee and also gives you a look that's 'head turning' cool.
  • Speed frame technology is a combination of VFT and hyperbolic face technology which creates a larger sweet spot to give you higher ball speeds across the titanium face for longer and more consistent distances. A chemical milling process selectively removes excess material for precision thickness control.
  • The Streamlines surface technology give the driver perfect aerodynamic contours to reduce energy loss from drag during the downswing by 17% compared to the Diablo Octane. This creates higher impact speeds for added distance.
  • Fitted with an Fujikura Motore F8 graphite Shaft. Using this shaft will give you the perfect feel, control, distance and accuracy of any golf shaft.
  • Fitted with a Callaway Men's universal grip.

      To be honest I have never really considered Callaway as a driver to go for, especially after their annoying advertising campaign. For this reason I was not expecting much from driver and was expecting no discernible improvement from the R9 I currently have in my bag. But it was rude not to try it as I had a £50 discount code with DG. I tested this, RBZ, R11 and Adams and this was the best of this driver was the best of the bunch for me.

      After two rounds I am very, very pleased with how good it is. Absolutely great feel from the face when hit and very forgiving. Compared with RBZ and the sound and feel is much better. I am not one to wax on lyrically about products but feel I have to say how good this driver feels to me.

      The alignment aids on the face of the driver are very useful as well. Helps to get it out of the sweet spot more often.

        borrowed this 10.5 degree driver from our pro for one round.i am not a callaway fan but this club is very nice. good grip, nice design, no gimmicks just address the ball and hit it.feels very solid at impact.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
