Mizuno JPX800 Driver

Today's Golfer Review "This driver offers a great deal of forgiveness as Mizuno engineers have used their Ultimate Dynamic Stability innovation that gives you great distance even on off-centre strikes."
  • Mizuno analysed thousands of drives at their National fitting centres and found that golfers lose the greatest distance when the ball is struck high or low on the clubface.
  • 'Ultimate Dynamic Stability' increases the size of the sweetspot both vertically and horizontally to ensure that you achieve the maximum possible distance, even on mis-hit shots!
  • The Hot Metal face of the Mizuno JPX800 driver uses a multi-thickness design to give you power and consistently high ball speeds no matter where the ball is struck.
  • The oversize 460cc head is forged from high quality Titanium, incorporating 6 pieces which are plasm welded into precision for absolute accuracy.
  • To keep the weight as low and deep in the head as possible the crown of the clubhead is just 0.7mm thin, allowing the Mizuno designers to give the JPX800 a lower centre of gravity.
  • With a 10g and 5g weight placed in the rear and heel of the clubhead respectively, each JPX800 driver produces a long and high ball flight with a slight draw bias.
  • As with every Mizuno golf club, the JPX800 driver looks clean and attractive at address, whilst still managing to deliver phenomenal forgiveness and power!
  • Each Mizuno JPX 800 Driver comes with various different shaft options all with different features and benefits.
    • Exsar DS5 - This Exsar shaft comes fitted to the JPX 800 driver as standard and delivers fantastic all round performance for golfers of all standards.
    • Axivcore Black 79 - Perfect for the average golfer with a swing speed around the 80-95 MPH area. This shaft will help you generate more clubhead speed and a lower spin for more control.
    • Axivcore Red - Ideal for the fast swinger with a swing speed around 95-110 MPH. This shaft helps to deliver a more penetrating ball flight with lower spin and a firmer feel on impact.
  • Please note that no headcover is included.

      Comments about Mizuno JPX800 Driver:

I purchsed the 13.5 degree model, although it very accurate and forgiving off the tee, with this degree of loft you lose a lot of distance, ideal for a very high handicapper looking for forgiveness, but any one from 18 to say 12 handicap needs a 10.5 to 9.5 loft to get the distance back again, I'm upgrading to the 825 10.5 loft, as i cant stand my mates outdriving me

        Comments about Mizuno JPX800 Driver:

It's suitable for medium-fast swings. Shots tend to lose a bit of distance if you don't drop a perfect bomb off the tee. It's more forgiving when it comes to direction (recudes slice or hook). A pleasure to handle and play with.

I managed to have a proper 'kick-off' with my new purchased JPX800 driver last Sat;despite some reviews commented it doesn't give enough distance,I personally think it's fine with 9 degree,it has a massive head with nice sweet spot,i got a great shot was def over 220yards landed on the Green.even I hate my couple of accident slide shoots, but the results werent too bad

                  Comments about Mizuno JPX800 Driver:

After taking up this great game only a year ago, I've slowly brought my handicap down from 28 to 18, using only my 5 wood of the tee. Thought I'd pop down to the range and have a look at a few drivers not really expecting to buy one. But after hitting 80 balls with a number of different drivers I came across the JPX and WOW is this club going to change my game! Already shot a net 62 using this club and hope that by the time the qualifiers start, I'll be very quickly climbing down the handicap ladder. Best club in my bag...

                    Comments about Mizuno JPX800 Driver:

Driving has always been the worst part of my game, I would always hit 3 woods and hybrids off the tee. Until I bought this driver! The traditional style gives you confidence when standing over the ball and the superb sound at contact is a dignified, professional one. (not an allmighty thwak that most drivers have)
It is very workable for players who want play a consistent draw or fade, this comes from the amazing feel you get when hitting this club. Overall I am hitting more fairways and getting it further down the fairway, the perfect formula to set you up for good scores. If you're a competitive golfer with potential but your driving is letting you down, you need this club!

I have mizuno irons and a callaway big bertha. today at the range i thought i would ask to try out the jpx800...i wish i hadnt...because i now want one of these NOW!!! thwe flight was high and straight on 25 of 30 balls hit. the club used was stiff flex and 10.5 loft. the balance and ease of swing made it a pleasure to hit the ball...after each shot the flight got longer and longer and easier and easier..what a lovely looking and superb performing piece of equipment...just 5 years ago my game iomproved from 18 to 6 handicap using a callaway BB but if i now get this new weapon i can only imagine 3 handicap is around the corner.....it is now on my xmas list and if not i will purchase in january what ever happens....wooowwwwww

Hit the range at the north Birmingham store, this was the club that consistantly went straight with great flight and height.

Whats great about my new 8000 is that i can't wait to hit my next tee shot, never have I felt this before.
