Great club, but I suggest you try the shaft options before you buy. Although I have and average swing speed I found more feel from the gold shaft with no difference in distance or shape.

I have the 3-iron replacment and love this club. It is incredibly wasy to hit. At the range I get bored hitting this club becuase it is too easy. Straight with a soft draw everytime from the short stuff. Automatic 200-210 yards in the fairway off the tee everytime. Duller and softer feeling impact than my Taylormade woods. More forgiving than a putter. Anything on the face goes in the fairway. Fantastic shaft too. Highly recommended.

I have just got this club and I can say its easy to hit from any lie and gives you confidence where long irons may terrify. Go on go and buy one you wont be disappointed.

The classic look of the Cleveland HiBore XLS utility clubs has been achieved by taking feedback from Cleveland's professional staff. A symmetrical shape gives an appealing look at address.
An offset head design promotes a square face at impact, preventing slices and making it easier for directional and trajectory control.
The additional offset also frames the ball more like an iron by positioning the leading edge closer to the hosel.
An inverted 'Scooped out' crown design moves the centre of gravity and weight lower, making it extremely easy to get the ball airbourne.
Fitted with an ultra high quality Fujikura 'Fit-On' Gold graphite shaft. The tip secion of the shaft gives the optimal trajectory for maximum distance, a higher ball speed and a smooth feel at impact.
