It's funny isn't it - you are viewed as a senior golfer if you have a chipper - even though it can save you shots! I believe that in the winter, there is nothing better - instead of fluffing your wedge because of the mud, use your chipper to 'nip' it off the surface and win your winter league matches! I'm spreading the word - it's not all about being man enough to use a wedge exclusively!The John Letters chipper is the best I have tried yet at a budget price - go get it!

Bought this club as I lost confidence in my chipping. It feels good and works well around the greens but you will need time to practice.

If you struggle to get close to the pin from just of the green then this chipper is a great solution. It looks good, excellent design and gives you instant confidence. For only [$] it came with a head cover, what a bargain.

The club feels heavy and it takes a little practice to get the judgement of distance correct. It is especially good on poor or muddy lies that are so common when playing winter golf.

Good quality and feel. Other chippers I have used had longer than a normal putter shaft, but this is perfect. Just use your normal putter swing (must follow through)and once practised it just does the job. The head cover and quality make it appear a much more expensive item. At less than 20 pounds what have you got to lose.

Having recently purchased a John Letters swingmaster chipper, I couldn't wait to try it out. It didn't let me down.Anywhere arouind the green,especially coming over a bunker,it was brilliant.Sorry I hadn't purchased one sooner.
