The smaller head size and shape is preferred on the professional tours and a thinner top line adds to the classic 'blade' look of the clubhead.
A reduced offset design is preferred by the better player as it allows both a fade and draw shots to be played. The longer hosel also helps to cut through rough lies.
Heel and toe weighting has been integrated into the cavity back design to give forgiveness, especially in the longer irons.
