Adams Golf is celebrating after topping the eagerly-anticipated equipment count for hybrids at this year's Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.
The manufacturer came out on top in the Darrell Survey, which found that there were more
Adams Golf hybrids used by players in the major than any other brand, reports World Golf.
It was found that 32 per cent of all hybrids used by competitors around the wet and windy Merseyside course last week were made by
Adams Golf.
Richard S Johnson, winner of the US PGA Tour's US Bank Championship last week, put his success down to a new Insight 9015D Prototype driver which he switched to weeks before the event.
He commented: "I struggled a little bit with my equipment this year, and I swapped drivers a couple weeks ago, which makes a huge difference for me. I just got my confidence up."
