Tim Finchem believes that golf fans will learn when Tiger Woods will make his anticipated comeback to the course with his
Nike golf clubs "pretty soon".
Woods revealed in a recent public apology for his personal transgressions that he did plan to return to golf one day, with many people expecting him to be in the field for the first major of the year - the Masters - which begins at Augusta on April 8th.
Finchem, who is the commissioner of the PGA Tour, believes Woods will make a decision shortly and he is interested to see how the world number one deals with any additional pressure on his shoulders.
"I think if he's going to play at the end of March, or early April, we will hear pretty soon," Finchem said.
"It's going to be an interesting thing to watch, how he re-enters the game, how he plays and how he deals with the reaction to his statement."
If Woods does return for the Masters, it is expected that he will first play in the Arnold Palmer Invitational, which begins on March 25th.
This is a tournament he has won on six occasions in the past including triumphs in the last two years.
