Kjeldsen works wonders with Cleveland 9 deg Launcher Driver

06/04/2009
Golf equipment firm Cleveland has celebrated Soren Kjeldsen's recent victory in Spain by announcing details of the clubs used by the Dane.

Kjeldsen signed to Cleveland from Mizuno earlier this year and got off to a fine start with the 9 deg Launcher Driver, shooting rounds of 68, 72, 62 and 72 at the Real Club de Golf de Sevilla.

The star eventually took the competition with a three-shot win of 274, with the impressive 62 round setting a course record.

Cleveland praised his form and released details of the clubs chosen by Kjeldsen.

Alongside the driver, Kjeldsen used a 15 deg Launcher 3 wood, a 19 deg Hibore XLS Hybrid and a set of 3-W Tour Concept CG Red Irons.

The Dane also packed a 54 bp CG10 Wedge and 51 + 60 deg 588 RTG Wedges.

Leslie Hepsworth chief executive of Srixon Sports Europe, the new parent company of Cleveland following the recent merger with Srixon Sports, said: "We set out to attract top quality players and with Soren's fine performance it looks like we are on our way to achieving our goal."
