Srixon has heralded the performance of Jim Furyk - the American whose singles match win over Miguel Angel Jimenez set up a 16 ½ to 11 ½ win for the US over Europe in the Ryder Cup.

Furyk rolled in a Srixon Z-URC golf ball for six birdies on his way to a 2 and 1 win over the Spaniard, who lies third in the European Tour Order of Merit.

Greg Hopkins, president and chief executive of Cleveland Golf / Srixon, applauded Furyk's efforts, before reminding golfers that the Srixon Z-URC comes with a money-back guarantee.

He commented: "We're not surprised he clinched the Ryder Cup with a Srixon ball. It's a better ball; that's why we guarantee it or your money back."

Also in the bag for Furyk, who weighed in with a share of 2.5 points for his team, were Srixon Pro 100 irons, a Srixon WG 706 and WG 504 wedges.

The 38-year-old world number nine has not won a tournament so far in 2008, but registered a fifth place finish at the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.
