Colin Montgomerie believes he has a good chance of defending golf's World Cup in China this week with new partner Alistair Forsyth.
Monty was part of last year's victorious Scotland team along with Marc Warren, as the Brits defeated Americans Heath Slocum and Boo Weekley in a play-off.
And speaking to the News of the World, 45-year-old Monty - who could become the first player since Tiger Woods to successfully defend the crown - says that he and Forsyth could spring another surprise.
The former Order of Merit winner said: "Alastair and I may not be favourites, but neither were Marc Warren and I last year.
"I can't wait to return to the team format. Playing with a young partner is something I always enjoy."
While Forsyth and Monty are currently ranked 117th and 118th in the world respectively, hotly-tipped Sweden feature two top 20 stars in Robert Karlsson and Henrik Stenson.
