Two Englishmen are featuring prominently at the ongoing Hong Kong Open in Fanling.
Oliver Wilson and Oliver Fisher are both positioned on eight-under par after two rounds at the Hong Kong Golf Club, along with Louis Oosthuizen of South Africa and Thailand's Chawalit Plaphol.
Fisher sunk five birdies on his way to an impressive round of 65, while Oosthuizen came close to breaking the course record after carding an outstanding 62 on day two.
Speaking to the Press Association, 20-year-old Fisher was optimistic on his chances of staying on contention over the final 36 holes.
He commented: "It is very good. I played very solidly today and I am in a good position going into the weekend."
A record was broken by 14-year-old Jason Hak, who became the youngest player ever to make the cut at a European Tour event.
