Greg Norman is looking forward to his first US Masters appearance since 2002, despite the narrow defeats he has suffered at Augusta.
The two-time Open champion has come close to wearing the green jacket on several occasions.
Most notably, he bogeyed the last to allow Jack Nicklaus to win in 1986, was defeated via a play-off by Larry Mize the year after, then surrendered a six-shot final round lead in 1996 to hand Nick Faldo his third US Masters champion title.
Despite his past nightmares at the Georgia venue, Norman says he has a good feeling about the tournament: "Every time I go back there, I put away all of the negative stuff, because I love all of the positive stuff.
"It's such an easy thing for me. And I know people kind of always revert back to the negative, and I always go back to the positive."
Norman proved he is still capable of mixing it with the best in last year's Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, finishing tied-third after coming into the final day on top of the leaderboard.
