The US Masters could be without two familiar faces in Davis Love III and Darren Clarke this year.
Love III was pushed down into 51st place after missing the cut at the recent WGC-CA Championship at Bay Hill.
That means without qualifying automatically through the top 50, the 1997 US PGA champion will have to win this week's Houston Open to stand a chance.
Until he missed last year's Augusta showpiece, Love III retained the distinction of having played his the last 70 majors back-to-back.
Darren Clarke is in a similar situation the Northern Ireland stalwart needs a US PGA Tour win in order to make the Masters.
Thailand's Prayad Marksaeng (47), Matthew Goggins of Australia (49) and South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen (50) all managed to sneak inside the top 50 after their recent performances in Florida.
