Bubba Watson has revealed that the opportunity to play in a Ryder Cup event is something that he has aimed toward his entire life.
Speaking ahead of his participation in The Barclays, the
Titlist Pro V1X golf ball user said that he hoped the tournament would be a "great experience" for him.
Watson joins the US teams other automatic picks with Phil Mickelson, Hunter Mahan, Jim Furyk, Steve Stricker, Dustin Johnson, Jeff Overton and Matt Kuchar having already qualified.
"Win or lose it's going to be a great experience. It's going to be representing our country and hopefully I'll represent the country well," he said.
"I want to win it. But it was a goal of mine my whole life to make the Ryder Cup. Now if I don't get injured I'll be able to play."
