      Comments about Footjoy SYNR-G Golf Shoes:

      Stylish shoe but beware they tend towards a narrow fit. The molded soles up the sides of the shoe are designed for support but also allow very little give. My feet are by no means broad but these took a lot of wearing in which is unusual for a modern shoe. (Tip: saturate the inside with rubbing compound - surgical spirit - as this helps the wearing in process - probably invalidates the waterproofing guarantee but mine are still waterproof unlike my playing partners brand new addidas tours)
      Would recommend but be prepared to wear them in.

        Always had footjoys but first time I have bought off the web - these shoes are on the narrow side and take a lot of wearing in to get comfortable if you have an average or wide foot - my feet are not particularly wide but I am still trying to remould my feet to fit the shoes. The moulded sole comes up the side of the shoe which restricts the leathers ability to shape to your foot. After 6 rounds they are still not there yet. 36 holes in a day left me hobbling for days.
        Great looking shoe but suggest you try at a local retailer to make sure they are for you before buying off Direct Golf who had a great deal on these shoes.
        Do I regret buying these shoes ? Not yet as I am optimistic I will get them to stretch in the end - Would I buy again off the net without trying at a retailer - No
