Very impressive, the trolley is very easy to put up and down, I did 18 holes and the battery meter hardly moved. Not too sure about the distance meter maybe more of a gimmick than anything although some will no doubt find it usefull. This is the second electric trolley I've owned and it's by far the best one, it looks good on the course and it's lightweight enables movement into and out if the car very easy.

The 2007 Motocaddy S3 boasts an innovative digital control panal with an abundance of impressive features, whilst still retaining the clean and seductive looks.

The Unique Digital Control Panel - controls the cart, plus displays three distance readings, speed setting, speedometer (mph or kph), the time, temperature and battery meter.
Two of the distance readings can be reset at any time, allowing you to measure the distance of your drives, or measure how far past a yardage marker your ball is, or even measure how far you've walked on your entire round. There is also a total distance reading which can't be reset, which measures the lifetime distance of the cart in miles or km. The readings are very accurate as they are taken from the revolutions of the axle. Please note distances will only be correct on the occasions where you can travel in a straight line to your ball.
Speed is controlled digitally (speed settings 1 to 9).
Ergonomic Dual Handles made from rubber provide a very comfortable grip and make it easy to steer the cart.
Lightweight and very sturdy aerospace grade aluminium frame (only 7.6kg!).
All plastic parts are made from durable nylon and feature a stylish smooth finish.
Attractive quick release wheels with dome tyres for smooth and efficient running.
The highly efficient and powerful 200W motor is whisper quiet.
Includes low profile 12V 22Ah Battery by Power Batteries (up to 27 holes on one charge) with convenient Torberry lead connection.
Includes Slimline 3A battery charger - stops charging when the battery is full to protect battery.

Use of the distance readings during competitions: - The Rules of Golf deem that if you wish to use a distance measuring device during a competition, the golf club must allow this under their “local rules”. Many clubs do allow the use of distance measuring devices in competitions, but if yours doesn't, simply select the "Total Distance" reading and declare this to your playing partners. In this mode, you cannot measure anything less than 1km.
