Condition Ratings

Like New

These clubs look new in appearance and are in near perfect condition. They have been hit very few times, or not at all, and show very slight to no visible wear. Quite often these are brand new clubs that have not been hit and only show very small cosmetic blemishes due to handling or showroom display. The entire club is extremely clean and is in excellent overall condition. Clubs are completely free of any noticeable dents, nicks, or "sky" marks with no visible wear anywhere on crown, paint, shaft, or grip. These clubs are in perfect working condition and are often indistinguishable from brand new.

Excellent

These clubs have been gently played but are extremely clean and near new with only slight signs of wear. A few nicks, marks, or scratches on head or shaft but any wear will be faint and mild. Will have no "sky" marks or visible damage to paint or graphics. Finish on club should still have original look with virtually no wear except for normal ball impact and minimal turf wear. All grooves will be present and in good condition. Shaft will be in very good condition with little or no visible wear and logo intact. Grips should be in playable and like new condition showing very little wear.

Very Good

Clubs in this category have clearly been played but are very clean with visible wear and moderate signs of use. Some nicks or scratches will be present but will have only been caused by normal play. Markings and grooves should be adequately sharp with only reasonable signs of use. Face and sole will show normal wear with no dents, gouges, or stone marks. Crown, finish, and shaft should show no pitting or excessive wear. Shaft must be factory original or high-quality replacement. Grips should still be playable.

Good

These clubs have been well played but remain clean, well cared for, and structurally sound. Clubs will clearly show wear and visual blemishes such as nicks, scratches, or possible "sky" marks consistent with normal usage, but free of defects and the playability will not be affected. Scoring lines should be fairly sharp with only reasonable signs of wear. Shafts may show normal bag wear but playability will not be affected and will either be the standard shaft or a high quality replacement. Grips should still be playable.
