John Letters Master Model Irons (Nippon Shaft)

Today's Golfer Review "These are by far the best-looking irons John Letters has produced in recent times, and better players will love the gorgeous soft feel off the face."
  • John Letters Master Model irons have been used by some of the greatest golfers to have ever played the game, including Gary Player, Lee Trevino, Fred Daly, and Bernard Gallacher.
  • John Letters have turned back the clock and incorporated modern technology with the history and heritage of John Letters' signature iron model, making it the perfect club for the skilled golfer.
  • Initially limited to just 50 sets, with each set being assembled in John Letters' all new custom workshop at the home of golf, St Andrews, Scotland.
  • The Master Model irons are forged from the finest 8620 carbon steel for an exquisite ultra soft feel at impact that the world’s best players demand.
  • The tour inspired head features a thin topline and a traditional profile at address while a brushed satin finish was chosen to reduce glare at address.
  • A slim muscle cavity offers forgiveness without sacrificing a traditional appearance. Mass is placed behind the sweetspot to provide a solid feel, but the cavity doesn’t protrude and is invisible at address for a classic appearance.
  • A trailing edge grind narrows the sole to give the turf interaction a professional player demands.
  • On the recommendation of the John Letters staff players, the set has been ‘tour lofted’ for a lower flight, whilst retaining the low offset design for increased workability.
  • Fitted with Nippon NS Pro 950GH steel shafts. Ever since its release, this top-selling model has been a favourite among golfers of all levels looking to take points off their scores. It features exceptional weight balance and control, with ultra-lightweight design comparable to graphite that makes it easier than ever to swing.
  • Full Set 3-PW

Comments about John Letters Master Model Irons (Nippon Shaft):

I purchased these irons after a great deal of deliberation to replace a set of Ping Anser. I have used a number of difterent irons over the years including the "Hand of God - Miura's" and I must say these have given me the greatest enjoyment. If you can get passed the "brand" and that is not meant disrespectfully, these are some of the best feeling irons out there. I would say they are best suited for anyone 15 handicap and under, try them as I am sure you will be impressed, even the blades are easy to hit!
