John Letters Golf has been present at Slaley Hall, Nothumberland to support Brand Ambassador Sam Torrance OBE in the PGA Seniors Championship. He achieved a great victory in 2006 with a score of 20 under par, a score he would love to repeat.
John Letters Golf is the only manufacture here this week and all tour players and celebrities have been taking advantage of the highly knowledgeable, dedicated team and the new tour workshop for 2012. John Letters had to repair Harry Redknap’s sand iron as it snapped during the pro am as Sam Torrance and Harry Redknap challenged Barry Lane and Freddie Flintoff. John Letters gave him a Tour Black 56* wedge in which he played some great shots during the round whilst his was been repaired.
“We have been busy all week changing lie angles, re-gripping, re shafting and frequency testing making sure all the shafts are perfect for the players who have chosen to put the Master Model Black drivers and fairways into play” added Neil Cooke Technical Director.
“We have put over 30 clubs into play this week including the new MM Tour Black Fairway and MM Grind wedges, the feedback we have got from the pro’s has been positive. The fairways produce a superb penetrating ball flight great for the windy conditions and the new MM Grind wedges offer the player so much spin and control” commented Simon Corp, John Letters Marketing Manager.
Torrance is carrying the MM Black driver, MM Satin Irons and the Tour Black wedges 54* & 60*, he has being testing the new Master Model fairways during the practice days.
“The new Master Model fairway looks beautiful, they sit great and the ball flight is really strong they will be going in the bag” commented Torrance.
