i purchased a set of these irons from Direct Golf last year with the stock regular shafts, i then found out that i needed stiff shafts after a club fitting so i ordered another set of JPX800's (and sold the originals) with custom stiff shafts from Direct Golf as i loved the looks and performance of my original JPX800's.
i have now played 3 full rounds with my new irons and all i can say is superb, i am getting great distance, good forgiveness and great results, i am able to draw, fade or hit them straight. one happy golfer. i would recommened these irons to anyone and also recommend you buy from Direct Golf too !

Quite simply the best irons I've ever used! Tried many different irons before I had to choose between the Mizuno JPX800's and the Cobra S3's. I spoke to [@] at Direct Golf and with some objective views from him, decided to go with the Mizuno's, and am I glad I did. The clubs look and feel great and from short to long irons have worked wonders for my game. If I carry on improving the way I am I'll be below 20 before long, they are just so easy to use. Once again can't thank Direct Golf enough.

i bought these JPX800 irons after alot of research on them.i have used them 4 times now and have found them to be superb in all departments, they are forgiving on mis-hits, lovely to look at and they send the ball miles (as far, infact further than any other iron i have used)superb bit of kit from a quality manufacturer, IMO Mizuno are the #1 when it comes to making quality irons.and as always got great price [...]

Smart move from me. I used MX25's and the JPX800 just out performed them. Long and accourate with a nice feel for a steel iron. I had to go at least 2 irons less. Par 3 160 yard was a 5 iron now I have to use the 7. You have to get some, they are oustanding.

Absolutely fantastic!! These irons are the most forgiving, most accurate, and longest I have ever hit! Even the mis-hits go long and relatively straight! Cannot fault these clubs at all, and the service from Direct-Golf is second to none! Thanks.

Used these for a about 2 weeks now and they are so easy to hit. Long too, I've taken 2 clubs off my approach shots. Shot 6 under my 16 handicap last week and very very pleased

Great looking irons that instill confidence, with excellent feel that delivers consistent ball flight. Forgiving too. The quality, as you expect from Mizuno is top rate, and the finish is exemplary too. However, beware! In their quest to make this their most forgiving iron, and to keep the club head perimeter-weighted, Mizuno have used very light and thin sheet metal/other materials for the branding livery inside the cavity. As a result, and just from normal use, I experienced deformation (dentation) to the JPX logo in the cavity - this was caused by general golf bag clatter as I pulled the trolley. So, you have been warned.

Overall, a classy set of irons, that look great, and play great. But can be easily damaged in the bag. Tip - use head covers to avoid this!!
