Mizuno MP-53 Irons

  • Mizuno's own optical illusion hides away a staggering level of forgiveness thanks to an innovative CNC milled pocket cavity, which redistributes 14 grams of weight around the cavity to achieve the largest sweetspot ever in a Mizuno MP iron.
  • The MP-53's distinctive Diamond Muscle design and V-shaped pocket cavity ensures a surprising level of stability from off centre hits, whilst maintaining workability and feel.
  • Crafted from 1025E Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel for distance control and pure feel. Each head is Grain Flow Forged and includes 'Harmonic Impact Technology' to give the ultimate soft, solid and consistent feel, with a pure sound.
  • In line with its quest to package big iron forgiveness into a more appealing head-size, the MP-53 also boasts a 360° grind to lessen the effective width of sole and top edge.
  • The MP-53's forgiveness is in the right places – the mid and long and irons. With the shorter irons, loft takes over the role of forgiveness and we put an emphasis back onto feel and versatility.
  • Modified U-Grooves produce maximum spin rates within 2010 Condition of Competition rules.
  • Fitted with the famous True Temper Dynamic Gold steel shafts to give a controlled ball flight and increased accuracy.
