Mizuno MP-59 Irons

  • Crafted from 1025E Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel for distance control and pure feel. Each head is Grain Flow Forged to give the ultimate soft, solid and consistent feel.
  • The amazing forged “Ti Muscle” pad technology increases the amount of forgiveness and solid feel in the MP range bladed head design. The titanium insert sits directly behind the sweet spot of the club face.
  • The muscle design is progressive through the set as it moves the centre of gravity from Low (4 Iron) to high (PW) which helps create more forgiveness.
  • The tour confirmed sole design uses rolled leading and trailing edges, and a flattened midsole for precision ball striking. Which also helps to maintain effective bounce when striking the ball. The sole of the MP-59 irons are slightly wider than the previous MP-58 model.
  • The clubs feature a blunter leading edge than earlier models. The trailing edge provides a smooth exit through impact and making a divot.
  • The harmonic impact technology has developed from research into vibrations, sound and feel (modal analysis), Mizuno R&D specified the frequencies required to create pure feedback and also the techniques by which to deliver them.
  • Precision forged U-Grooves meet the new R&A and USGA 2010 groove guidelines.
  • The MP-59 Iron is slightly more offset than the MP-69 model.
  • Fitted with Dynamic Gold shafts as standard.
  • Full set 4-PW.

Cons

    Best Uses

These are the most attractive irons I have ever played with. I went for a fitting and wanted the Titliest blades or Ap2's. I had no intention of even looking at Mizuno, but when this was placed in my hand and I struck the ball it was truly superb.
This is NOT a club for a handicap over 12. You cannot scoop at the ball and get away with a high ball flight. The ball will scull across the ground if you don't hit down on these ball first then turf. You are truly rewarded with a great sound and an awesome ball flight. I love the thin bladed look at address which ooozes confidence. I just adore these clubs!

If you find blades to hard to use these will change your mind
They are by far the best set of irons i have owned in 30 yrs of golf
very forgiving if you dont quite flush them all the time (who does )
you must get custom fitted to get the best from these clubs I did !
