Woods wins with 14 Nike clubs in the bag, including the Nike Method 001 putter.
Nike Athlete Tiger Woods captured his 74th PGA Tour win at AT&T National, moving him into outright second place on the PGA Tour’s all-time career win list.
Helping him to his third victory of the season was his full bag of 14 Nike clubs, including his Nike Method 001 putter. Woods, who is ranked first on the PGA Tour in putts from 20 – 25’ so far this season, was ranked ninth for the week in putts gained.
“I feel like I really controlled the putter well this week,” said Woods. “I had a lot of good putts, and I had a lot of for some reason I had a lot of putts that were downhill, big, breaking putts. I hit a lot of good putts this week.”
Nike’s Method technology features Nike’s polymetal groove technology that generates a faster forward roll at impact for increased accuracy. This technology has been instrumental in the 37 wins by Nike athletes on the Professional Tours worldwide.
Nike Athlete Jhonattan Vegas also recorded a notable performance at the AT&T National using the Nike Method 001 putter. He finished tied for fourth, his best performance of the season.
