During my time at Direct Golf UK, I have worked in the retail stores as a sales executive, a claims handler in the Insurance Claims Team and a sales executive in the Telesales Team. I progressed to Telesales Manager and then to my present position of Call Centre Manager which incorporates responsibility for the Telesales Team, Insurance Claims Team, Corporate Department and the Customer Services Team.

Worked from 25/04/06 to 17/04/08 for DGUK then 01/12/09 to present. Started as Senior sales, then 3rd keyholder, then Assistant Manager and upon my return to DGUK I was promoted to Store Manager.

Returning to Edgware and being given the Managers job.

My year working at head office has been part of my accounting & finance degree, a s my third year placement. I have worked on both the sales and purchase ledger side of the accounts department and have undertaken a wide variety of tasks as part of this. As part of my role I began by working on the sales ledger side of accounts, dealing with store and mail order takings. My role has now progressed in that I also deal with purchase ledger. Both of these areas have enabled me to increase my knowledge of accounts which will benefit my final year studies.

Working in an environment that has allowed me to put my academic learning into practice ...and meeting some great people along the way.
