Delivery and Returns

Can I track my order?

Direct Golf UK members can track their orders online by logging into their account and clicking the Your Orders link in the top right panel.
All customers, whether members or otherwise will receive a confirmation of despatch email that includes tracking details (with the exception of orders sent via the Royal Mail as they do not offer a tracking service).

Who do you use for delivery?

Direct Golf UK will ship your parcel via UK Mail, Hermes or the Royal Mail depending on the size of your parcel and where you live. All services available and the relevant prices are listed below. Both UK Mail and Hermes offer a full tracking facility and should you pass on your email address and mobile telephone number to us at point of order you will be updated by the couriers as and when necessary by email and/or sms. In the majority of locations within the UK, both UK Mail offer a window for delivery so you can plan your day around your delivery.

Can I specify an alternative delivery address?

You can now choose an alternative shipping address in the checkout (excluding orders paid by finance). If you are having your goods sent to a place of work please be aware that we are not liable for any lost/damaged parcels beyond the delivery to the front door. Please ensure that when entering your details into the website, the billing address is accurate as this is used to verify your details. Failure to enter accurate details may hold up your parcel being despatched.

If your order is of a high value and you do not have a purchase history with ourselves we may request that your order be shipped to the billing address, in such cases you will be contacted prior to your goods being shipped.

In any instance, you can of course choose to speak to someone in person and place your order over the phone by calling the sales team on free phone 08000 139 139.

What is the cut off for our premium delivery services?

In order to take advantage of the premium delivery services such as next day delivery, next day timed deliveries, fast track services and the like, orders must be placed by 2pm on the day of despatch

Are premium delivery services available for everyone?

No, the couriers do not offer a next day, timed delivery or Saturday delivery service to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands or any non UK destinations.

What if I'm out when the couriers try to deliver?

If there is no success in delivering the goods to your address, our couriers will attempt delivery with a neighbour. Unless you have instructed the couriers to leave the parcel in a 'safe place', they will always obtain a signature from you or a neighbour. If the couriers deliver to a neighbour they will put a calling card through your letter box to let you know where the parcel is. Please note Direct Golf UK are not liable for any parcel that is lost when you have requested it is left safe without a signature.

If there is no-one available to sign for the parcel, the courier will leave a card stating that they have attempted delivery and will try again on the next working day (not Saturday or Sunday). If you call the number on the card, the couriers will arrange re-delivery on another day convenient to you. You can also arrange to collect your parcel from the local depot if you prefer.

After the first delivery attempt the parcel will only be held by the courier for 5 working days. Any parcels not delivered or collected within 5 days of the first attempted delivery will automatically be returned to Direct Golf UK. Should you request that Direct Golf UK then re-send the order, you will be subject to a £4.99 re-delivery charge (UK Mainland). This re-delivery charge is higher for European and International destinations.

Can I have my order re-directed to an alternative address?

Should you wish to re-direct your order to an alternative address (once your original order has already been shipped), this can be done by calling Customer Services on free phone 08000 139 139. There is a one off £6.99 cost for this service (UK Mainland). This service is higher for European & International destinations.

Delivery of hazardous goods

Please note that due to restrictions of certain couriers, Direct Golf UK are currently unable to delivery trolleys that include any type of battery outside of the UK. Should you place an order for such as item over the website, you will be contacted by our Customer Service Team

Public Holidays and Working days

Our couriers do not collect or deliver on Sundays or public holidays. The couriers also do not collect on Saturdays. Woking days are classed as Monday to Friday. If you have chosen a premium service such as next day delivery, please take this into consideration

Return of an unwanted item

If you are looking to return an item to us for an exchange or refund, please contact the Customer Services Team on free phone 08000 139 139 for your returns number. Once you have obtained your returns number you should return your goods to:

On the outside of the parcel write your returns number. Please include a note inside the parcel with your name, address and contact details with confirmation of what is required in return. We recommend that you return the goods through the 'Royal Mail Recorded Delivery Service' and keep the receipt for your records. Upon receipt of the parcel we can then send any replacement item(s) to you free of any delivery charge.

Return of a faulty item

Please be aware that if a faulty product that has been returned is still under guarantee, this product will be repaired if it is possible to do so. In the vast majority of such cases, upon receipt of the item, we will forward the item(s) to the relevant manufacturer for inspection. The majority of manufacturers quote up to 28 days for repair of goods. If the item cannot be repaired, we will replace it free of charge.

If a product is out of guarantee, repair of the faulty product will be chargeable to you.

Faults with electric trolleys, GPS units and Range Finders

Due to the technical nature of certain electric trolleys, GPS units and Range Finders, should you need to return such as item due to a fault, we may put you in direct contact with the manufacturer who will be able to offer specialist advice and speed up the whole process for you.

If I have requested a refund, how long will this take?

Upon receipt of a return, if a refund has been requested this will be processed within 14 working days.

Can I return any item?

You can return any item with the exception of used goods, custom fit golf equipment and personalised/logo equipment. Please note we do not offer a trial service on any item whereby it can be tested and the returned to us.

Other information

If you have received a free gift or voucher with any item you are returning, you must also return this promotional item. Failure to do so will result in a refund/credit not being processed.

Can I return my products to a store?

Yes, if more convenient to yourself, you can return your items to one of our retail outlets. If you have purchased your items via our website or our telesales team, please ensure you present a proof of purchase. For details of your nearest store, click here. If you are looking to exchange the product for an alternative, it is advisable to contact the store prior to your visit.

In store returns policy

  • All unwanted purchases for any reason are allowed to be exchanged for another product or we issue a gift voucher, providing the product is in an unused condition.
  • All faulty returns are available to be repaired under manufacturer's warranty / refunded by the payment method used to make the purchase.
  • All refunds/returns must be accompanied by proof of purchase or copy of credit card statement.
  • This does not affect your statutory rights.
