Thanks again for the price match, I visited the Solihull Store on Saturday with my 3 year old grandson Jordan, the staff at Solihull were magnificent they put up with his attempts to use long clubs to play golf on the putting green, provided him with a small version which made it easier for him (but did not make him any quieter, still shouting when he put a ball in the hole). He walked around the shop asking the staff their names and telling them he loves golf and not letting go of his golf club which he now owns. The staff even fetched him a drink of water. My wife was amazed at how helpfull, polite and happy the staff were and now understands why I am prepared to travel to the shop as against going to a local shop. The staff deserve a big Thank You for all their hard work, dedication and professionalism, they are a real credit to your company. If nothing else they have a new young golf fan to add as a customer.

I am writing to you as to express my extreme thanks for the wonderful service I received from Steve Cooper of your Whalebone lane North store recently, I have been playing golf for many years and it is a very important part of my life, as someone who suffers from an ongoing severe illness, golf gives me some relief from the problems that this incurs, it is not possible for me to put into words exactly the measure of how much Steve has helped me, he spent so much of his time explaining the golf swing to me in order that I would be able to choose what would be the most suitable golf club for me, I know only too well that many stores whatever the goods they are selling, are only too quick to make a sale and not put the customers interest at heart, this was far from the case with Steve, he saw me on several occasions until we decided that I had the right club that would give the best results for me. The knock on effect from first meeting Steve and putting his advice into action regarding my golf swing, has been an enormous positive in my life, and this also has had an inadvertent effect on my surrounding family who have seen a lift in my well being, I now have a new found desire to get out of my house and enjoy golf once again.

Would you please pass on for me my most sincere thanks to Steve, I am sure he would enjoy also a positive mail from yourself regarding the service he has given, once again I cannot stress how ill I have been and this chance encounter with Steve has helped me immensely.

Just wanted to say thank you for custom fitting my clubs last night and to say that it's great that the custom fitting is free for the life of the clubs. I am really impressed by the great customer service you and the team offer - it's such a refreshing change from many retailers.

I just wanted to let you know that I'm very happy with the Mizuno MP62 irons I bought from you last week. I took them to the driving range on saturday, and played a 4BBB on sunday which we won with 43 stableford points. The clubs performed and felt just great. So, thanks for the good advice and also for some good pro tips on my swing technique. That also already helped me a lot.

Your Service Is World Class!!!

Dear Direct Golf,

Its not often that I put pen to paper to give positive feedback after some shopping trips, but in this case its totally deserved.

Ive recently taken up golf again after some 20 years and went to your Edgware store to buy a complete set of equipment (I had always borrowed clubs etc in the past). The service at Edgware was absolutely exceptional, so friendly, polite and helpful. In fact for me it has been by far the most enjoyable experience I’ve had at any retail outlet of any kind in the last 20 years. My visits to your store have really enhanced my enthusiasm as I’ve been getting back into the game. I’m the first to admit that I can be fairly indecisive and full of questions when buying things, but the staff at Edgware have always been extremely patient.

I would be very grateful if you could pass on my thanks to the staff at Edgware. They are a credit to Direct Golf and indeed to the game itself.

If only all shops and services could be conducted in suck a civilised, friendly and professional way.

Today Sun 30/12/07 I visited your Cambridge store to buy a replacement Driver as my current one had 24 hrs of legality left. I would like to place on record what a pleasant experience it was. Steve who looked after me made sure that the Driver I picked was the right one for me by suggesting I hit some balls on the Driving Range along with some alternatives clubs and discussing the merits of each club with me. When I hit my new Cobra Driver 2?? yds straight down the middle I will think of Steve and the rest of the guys at Direct Golf UK Cambridge.

absolutely brilliant!!! i bought a driver there (macgreger eye-o-matic) and the guy gave me 30 practise balls for free! FOR FREE!!!! 4 3!!! -p.s.this is sandown park b.t.w. anyway the people down there are so nice, love the sport and love making people happy.. THANKS A LOT!!!!

Came up this afternoon and bought a set of John Letters irons and some other bits. Staff great, helpful and gave a couple of tips (cheers Malcolm). Shop very well stocked, could have spent a fortune but knew I would have to explain the bill to the missus. But will definately be back to the store in the near future and will make a comment about the new irons purchased today.

Called in on Saturday after spending a couple of weeks mulling over which new driver to chose. Michael in Huddersfield Range shop was very helpful with advice, spent quarter of an hour in the driving range trying various makes and models and I came out with a Taylor Made R7 460 at the best price Ive seen anywhere. Tremendous service, helpful staff, definately recommended. Thanks Matt

Just a quick note to say Thank You!

I bought the above driver from you last saturday, Played in a comp yesterday against a 3 Handicap. Of couse i got hammered!

BUT my drives went strait & incredibly only about 15 - 20 yds behind him. I dont know if it was the driver or the 10 min instruction on how to use one that did the trick but thanks anyway.

I think it was jamie that dealt with me, also fitted me up with some mx15 irons a couple of weeks ago.

This is just a quick note to say how impressed I was when I visited your Tonbridge store.

We live in Devon and I have bought most of my golf equipment on-line from your website. However, this last weekend I was staying in Kent and went to look at your new store. I wanted a fairway wood and spoke to Simon. He was so helpful and knowledgeable and it was a real pleasure to be served by him.
