Used to play the Pro V1 or Pro V1x and thought nothing could compare.....until i tried this! It does everything a Pro V1 does - long, great control, workable, great ball flight - but also alot more! I find it flies alot straighter on sliced or pulled shots, but still has superb control with iron shots and around the green, it is far more durable than the titleist and it gets through the wind better when it's in your face. Make the switch, you won't regret it!!!!!

I usually play with a Srixon Z Star, and having tried these balls I will be staying with the Srixons. The Penta feels good and has amazing spin and control, but I suffered with a lack of distance off the driver and mid irons. Perhaps it's the way I srtike the ball, I am getting too much back & top spin with the Penta causing it to nose dive or ballon in the wind. It could also be because I keep my clubs clean and the grooves sharp. Either way I will stick with the Srixons or Callaway Tour i.

      I HAVE NO HANDICAP BUT WOULD BE AROUND 15-18. I HAVE USED THESE BALLS ON 2 ROUNDS ON HEAVY TURF AND FOUND THEM TO BE THE BEST ALL ROUND BALL I HAVE USED (I PREVIOUSLY USED EITHER CRUSH, E6, PRO V1 OR TRISPEED). MY BURNER 2 IRONS LOVE THEM AND HELP WITH A HIGH TRUE BALL FLIGHT. LONG OFF THE TEE AND GREAT SPIN WHEN REQUIRED - BUY!

            local pro gave me a free one with a pair of shoes. used the ball for 6 holes and was impressed with how straight the ball flight was with good distance as well. the ball feels on par with the pro v1 when hit well. Can't really comment on the durability as only did 6 holes, but it still looked new. Was impressed enough to a dozen and I grudge buying premium balls.(Discount card helped)
